They call New York City a concrete jungle. A canopy of skyscrapers, streets like trails that lead practically anywhere and everywhere, and of course a diverse community of culture and difference that brings everyone together. Get lost in the lights. Listen to the sounds. Feel the earth move under your feet. There are new experiences at every turn when you are in the city, any city for that matter. Street photography is about being lost in that jungle and finding your way out while communicating with those who know it best. There is hidden meaning in every detail and every silhouette, from dawn to dusk. From the city that never sleeps to the city of brotherly love, street photography changes drastically. Embedded culture makes a city what it is, that’s why it’s important to never leave a cobble stone unturned. In a city, tasting and touching and hearing and smelling become even better than seeing. It’s complete sensory overload, but in the best way possible.
